Daddy

When their father suddenly dies on holiday, his three adult children who haven’t spoken in years must work together to bring his body home.

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

Daddy is a story about three adult siblings who haven’t spoken in years, suddenly brought back together by the unexpected death of their father during his vacation in Cuba. In the middle of their silence, grief, and unresolved tension, one little lie becomes the strange glue that forces them to reconnect.

What interested me most wasn’t the death itself, but what it uncovers: how adult inheritance, old resentments, unspoken tensions or simply growing apart can quietly break the bond between even the closest siblings.

This is a film about how

broken relationships can still hold love beneath the surface

and how, in the messiest moments, we sometimes find our way back.
